1 Witching Hour A

I’m a huge music fan, particularly of rock music. I have a love of the driving bass and the edgy lead singers that define rock music. But I also love country music, and southern rock combines the best of both worlds – the rhythm of rock and the story-telling of country.

This Halloween, I am DJing from 12-3am at The River, the rock club in SL where I work. I’ll be putting my set together with a heavy sprinkling of songs that represent this spooky holiday. One song that I will be including is “Witchy Woman” by The Eagles. They are arguably one of the best American rock bands of all times, and they are a classic example of southern rock. This song tells it’s love story with a haunting melody and smooth, sexy lyrics. While it is a bit slower than most of the music I normally play during my sets, it is iconic and I just have to include it.

Stop by if you’re up and around to start out Halloween, and come in costume – we’re throwing a party to kick off a day filled with events. Swinging In My Garden

I moved my showroom in Second Life about a week ago to a true commercial sim. The last place I had mine set up was supposed to be commercial, but there were no restrictions on the builds and they allowed residential as well. I finally got sick of being surrounded by Early 21st Century Ugly and moved.

My last showroom was on a sand sim. I now have grass, so I wanted to create a garden around my showroom. This swing set from Piddler’s Perch looks sweet in the back corner of my lot. It is available the rest of today (Tuesday) ONLY at the SLebrity SLection Street Sale, so rush over!

After setting up the build, I wanted to relax in my comfies (see, Cao? No more leggy supermodelish Peep!). It is available at this round of the Cosmopolitan Sales Room, which runs through November 13th.
