This is Lace. I don’t always blog my client shoots, but when I really like the way a photo turns out, I want to share it. There were several of Lace’s proofs that I liked, but this one was my favourite.
To me, it highlights her soft side, elegant and sexy. She has an edgier side, but this photo to me just says Lace.

Cute little black dress, isn’t it? Simple style, form-fitting lines, everything you could ask for in a LBD. But there’s a kicker!
Pippi Moonites, the creator of this dress, gave it a little something extra for Halloween. She sent it out with a note card to bloggers, along with a challenge. Here’s what she had to say about it:
BUUUH!!
this dress has a trick (it is not a coincidence that i produce it for halloween). on the back appears a pumpkin that makes buuuuuuh! then disappears. After 10 seconds the pumpkin returns to frighten those who want to get their hands on your ass … ehmm… on your pumpkin.if you click the dress while the images are moving, the animation stops and becomes a normal dress. if you click it again, the animation starts again.
Click it is not easy because it is a mesh dress. advice before deciding if you want it for halloween or for a normal day; rezz it, click it, and then wear itThe idea was mine. It went in the time usual for an idea: less than a seconds… more to make the textures (9 images).
The script is of my lovely husband, duilio mastroianni. He needed a day to understand my desire and to script (he also has not lots of time for SL)
Now the challenge is to you: are you able to explain with static images what this dress do???

And no, I couldn’t do it with a static picture. So I made my very first gif! lol that’s a story in itself, but since I want to keep my blog rating at PG, I won’t discuss the language I used when trying to make it.

I do believe Halloween is a bigger deal in Second Life than Christmas. Everywhere you turn, there’s some spooky, scary or cute item to celebrate this (mainly) American holiday. I have to admit Halloween isn’t my favourite holiday, but it’s hard not to get caught up in the fun that Second Life creates.
RubyStarlight Writer has set up gacha machines at the Exposeur main store with cute pumpkins with poses that you can grab for only 5L a play. Each pumpkin has a unique pose (with a mirror), so if you’re looking for an inexpensive but quality pose prop for Halloween, don’t miss your chance. And if you’re not into the ghoulish type of costume, this sweet outfit from .::Vivid::. gives you just enough of a costumey feel with the wings on the back of the tied-up tee shirt. It’s great for those of us in the southern hemisphere who are heading into hot weather – who wants to be swaddled in a mummy’s wrapping when the temperatures are soaring?
