Celebration Of A Misty Morning

The mist rolls in off the ocean, muffling the sound of the surf as it washes against the shore. The far off cry of the seagulls adds to the symphony of the foggy dawn.

The March BishBox is the source of my apparel, all designed to bring a feeling of freedom. The pose from {NANTRA}, available at The Liaison Collaborative, adds to the sense of liberation.

The location, though, is the star. Frayed Sanity by name, but a truly peaceful place; perfect for the celebration of a misty morning.

After I took this photo and was finished processing, I sat back to think about a title. The more I looked at it, the more I thought to myself, “Geez, she looks pissed off!” It’s the look on a woman’s face whenever she is being fed a line that is pure BS: part incredulity and part anger that the speaker believes she might just fall for it. Being April 1st, the title just seemed appropriate.

I am showing off the latest release from fri.day for Uber, the Aloy Booties. These stunning shoes are half boot, half strappy heel and pure sexiness. Perfect for doing a little arch-stomping, if need be. My top from ChicModa from the March BishBox is a great halter that says, “I’m fun, but I’m no nonsense.”

In other words, I’m nobody’s fool.

The March edition of BishBox is themed “Indie Chic” and is packed full of fun and funky stuff for the hippie-at-heart. From the awesome flared jeans from Razor to the sweet fringed vest from United Colors, the bangly watch and bracelets from Kibitz topped off by the hair and hat combo from Doe, you have all you need to be a proud Boho baby.
