It has been a while and I want to apologise for not blogging sooner. Sometimes health issues – injury, illness – get in the way, and what I thought was going to be a short break turned into something much longer than I hoped. To those of you who read my blog, thank you for peeking back in. For the marvelous designers and events I am blessed to blog for I thank you for your patience. I will do my very best to create posts that make you proud.

I have three posts ready to go, but since I have been sitting way longer than I should already, I’m going to keep this short and sweet. Please check the credits for the lovely things I am so proud to show you. Some of these are for events that end relatively soon, so please pay special attention to those deadlines.

And with that, I bring to an end my first post in much too long.

I’m heading out for Colour Day (revising my roots, in other words), but I wanted to post this before the magic begins.

If you are ready for summer already, you need to grab these fabulous cutoffs from *Just BECAUSE*. The detail is incredible (look at the frayed threads on the unfinished edges) and there is a huge range of colours. Each set includes two versions and the fatpack includes three exclusive colours. You can grab these at the mainstore.

Don’t forget Pose Fair 2017 continues through April 29th. The Balloon Dreams pose prop from Exposeur is packed full of fun and festive poses that are just delightful. You can find this set at the landing point store (but don’t miss the other Exposeur booths scattered throughout the sim).

I really loved this round of Luxe Box. Blueberry delivers, as usual, and the Milky Pals set from MishMish is just too adorable for words.

I Don’t Care If It Rains

Why don’t I care if it rains? Not only because it brings beautiful flowers and lush, green lawn, but because I have all of the gear to be stylish in a shower.

It isn’t a bad idea to wear a minimal top so it doesn’t get saturated by the rain. In this case, it is a lovely lace bra masquerading as a midriff-baring top from *Just BECAUSE*, available at this month’s round of FaMESHed. It is part of a set with matching panties that come in both a lace and solid version. They pair perfectly with a dress with the same options, but this is pretty enough to show off on its own.

To help protect the rest of me are several lovely items from the “Rainy Days” round of The Liaison Collaborative. Starting at the top is this great hat from GizzA . It is stylish as well as practical. To add another layer of protection is this sweet rain jacket from Vinyl. It comes in a wide variety of colours, with bonus textures if you pick up the fatpack. And finally, these adorable capris from ~Nerido~ give you the option of wearing the belt, or not, making these casual pants great for layering or for a highlight for your mid-section.

In the background is the welcoming Palma set from {what next} from the current round of Collabor88. You can purchase the chairs, tables (in multiple colours), lanterns and decor set separately, but for only 188L, you really should go for the full set. It’s too good a bargain to let wash away.

I should grab the books though; I may not be afraid of the rain, but I don’t want to ruin a classic!
