Sometimes it all comes together.

I’ve had this pose by !bang for Sad November all month. I just hadn’t found the inspiration to blog it.

Couples poses can be tough, especially those where the pair are entwined, like this one, if you’re wanting to show off clothes. And if you’re wanting to showcase it, you have to be careful to stage your scene so that it is a centerpiece, and not lost amongst the furnishings.

Enter the body tattoos by Clemmm for Enchantment. It is just the thing to bring focus to the pose, while showing off some awesome ink.

Even more amazing is that I was able to get Chance and myself both in the event the day after it opened!

I was a bit disappointed that the Slink applier for this tattoo doesn’t work with the Slink Physique male mesh body, but when Chance is stripped down to his basics, he still looks pretty good. The only real issue was that I didn’t want to have to try to edit his system hands, so he’s wearing his Slink appendages. I had to touch up the hand tattoo in Photoshop. I didn’t make it look as good as the real deal, but I did my best.

Despite that minor issue, I think we scooped up some good stuff 😉

Not that she did the slaying, Not in that dress!

You can pick up the gown (bones included) from Salt & Pepper at the The Pastel Goth Fair. It’s running until October 30, so you can find lots of pretty, feminine goth stuff while you’re there. Did I really just put “pretty”, “feminine” and “goth” in a sentence together??? Well, I guess there’s always a new spin on an old fave in Second Life.

The pose is part of a set by !bang for GEN-Neutral, which ends on October 26th. As always, the pose set is packed with value with mirrors of every pose included.

And let’s talk about the location. Calas Galadhon Park is an iconic group of sims in Second Life. Once again, Ty and Truck have created a new sim for Halloween, called Calas Galadhon’s ‘VALYRIA’. It is full of adventure, with secret locations, dragon rides and loads of amazing landscaping for amazing photo ops. Make sure you stop by to explore and visit the bones of those who were slain.

There are so many awesome events going on right now you need a guidebook to keep up!

In addition to the standard monthly events, like Collabor88 (where you can find the socks I’m wearing from fri.day), there are also a couple of special events going on.

Geeks & Nerds started on the weekend, and it is the ultimate destination for not only dinks, dorks and swots, but for the discerning shopper of any ilk. For example, the pose from !bang can be used by mere mortals, as well.

Also running now is Tag! Gacha. It’s kind of complicated to explain, so make sure you check out the Tag! Gacha website to find out how it works. But whether you do the full gacha round or just cherry-pick your favourite machines, be sure to hit up [ keke ] for her awesome prizes! The skulls and keys in this set are intricate, beautifully textured and as always, the highest quality.
