But I’m not going to tell it.

Some of the central parts of the story can be found in this photo. I found them while following the Saint Pete City Hunt that tells the story of Tatiana and Nickolai. Written by Skippy Beresford, it is a lovely little tale that will allow you to wander the latest Neva River Estates sim, enjoy the gorgeous St. Pete City, and pick up a few souvenirs. They are provided by [ zerkalo ], so you know they will be beautifully made.

Also beautifully made are the pendant lights and hogweed accessories from [ keke ]. Yes, Kean Kelly can even make weeds look delicate and attractive. The lights come in three lengths and the hogweeds come in both a plain version (not shown) and a shimmery style. And see the weeds in the vase on the table? That is the gift from [ keke ] for the 2nd anniversary of Kustom9, which begins on October 15th.

In every dusty attic, in every unopened box, in the bristles of every weed, there is a story to be told.

1 Evergreen Nook 1

Just when you have wound down from shopping at the early events of the month, it’s time to gear up for Shiny Shabby and My Attic @ The Deck. There are loads of goodies at both events, and I took the opportunity to take a few of them out for a spin.

My destination was a lovely sim called Evergreen Nook. It is all decked out for autumn with a very rustic feel, so it complimented the Town & Country theme of My Attic this round. My skirt from K-CODE, earrings and bracelet from Cae and shoes from Essenz are all from this event, and I found perfect compliments from Shiny Shabby with my scarf from Apple May Designs and pose from !bang. They’re all reasons to get up in the morning and get out and about!

Head into town to do a little shopping then make your way to the country to enjoy the lovely autumn weather.

Who would believe that I am already to go the ball, and I’m waiting for my date to get dressed????

A classic cliche turned on its head 😉

As you are probably aware from reading my blog, I am a devoted user of LUMIPro Blog. It is my one essential for Second Life photography. Stefan, the creator, is currently working on the latest update, so to keep us all busy while he toils, the LUMIPro team has engineered a photo contest. Grab a cutout image of Stefan and take a photo with him, somewhere in Second Life.

The rules are pretty simple, as long as you own a LUMIPro.

You must own a LUMIPro.
You must use LUMIPro in the shot in some way.
Entry photos must be added to the LUMIPro Flickr Group and tagged with I took out Mr LUMIPro.
Only entries uploaded on or before July 31, 2015 will be considered.
By entering the contest you give LUMIPro the right to use your images in promotions as well as social media.
Stefan and I will go through all the entries and pick our top three favorites, and here is what they will receive:
First prize will receive 5,000 lindens.
Second Prize will receive 3,500 lindens.
Third Prize will receive 2,000 lindens.

You can head over to the LUMIPro Sales Gallery to pick up your cutout of Stefan (just buy it for 0L). Then all you have to do is post it to LUMIPro’s Flickr Group with the tag I took out Mr LUMIPro, and you are entered to win!
