I popped over to Furillen the other evening to steal Serene’s snow. The sim was almost empty. Although it is a rather barren sim by design, just about everything was gone, except for a couple of buildings. Serene is turning it into the planet Hoth as a change up. He had the sim locked down today to work on it and I can’t wait to see it.

However, the simplicity of the snow, the sky and the water were just what I wanted to showcase this cozy coat from neve available at The Liaison Collaborative and these adorable heels from fri.day for the December round of The Liaison Collaborative. To protect my knees from freezing, I added a pair of cute reindeer tights from .::Nanika::., also from TLC.

I am nice and toasty, all bundled up in this sweet outfit. Thank god – there wasn’t a Tauntaun in sight!

Once upon a time, a girl felt awkward and unattractive. She hid herself away and never allowed others to come near. She was afraid of ridicule and rejection. She always wore a hood to cover her face, believing that no one would notice her.

Then that girl ventured out at winter solstice and discovered a magical grove. The Rowan trees bent down to create a tunnel for her to travel through, kissing her hair with snowy leaves, turning her tresses to a lustrous pewter. Across her face they created a mask scattered with diamonds, which gave her confidence to step through the trees, her identity half-hidden, yet beautiful in a way she could not understand. Lifting her hood to reveal her beauty, she reached out – not just to touch a blowing leaf but to reach out to the world.

The rowan trees and leaves are the latest main store release from [ keke ]. While I loved the autumn version she created for the November Deco(c)rate, the winter versions are simply magical.

My dress and hair are a collaboration between Apple May Designs and [RUNAWAY] for the December round of The Liaison Collaborative. While the dress and hair are separate purchases, there is a version of the hair that fits perfectly with the hoodie dress. Each version of the dress comes with both a plain version and an appliqued version and the hair is fitted for various mesh bodies, in addition to standard fitted versions. They are a pair that you need to never split apart.

My makeup is from Slack Girl at Winter Solstice in the Mystic Realms. This comes with a rather dramatic crown, but the makeup is beautiful on its own. Make sure you stop by to check out the makeup and all of the other lovely things at this winter event.

A Winter Solstice in the Mystic Realms is where winter and fantasy collide. Well over 100 vendors will offer winter-themed items including exclusives just for the event. Lose yourself in our magical shopping environment while looking for the perfect gift for someone you love, or for you!

And it is now open!

There are a few bits of information you need to know:
– For the first weekend, to create as lag-free an experience as possible for everyone we have a complexity limit of 75,000. Here’s how to lower your ARC:

    Detach all worn objects, HUDs and clothes, including mesh heads and mesh bodies. (Being invisible is chic!)
    Default to a system avatar (remove your mesh body, wear system clothes, etc.).
    Reduce the number of scripted objects you’re wearing (e.g. hair with resize scripts).

– For the best shopping experience, please use the Region Default Windlight setting
