I love the classics. Whether it is literature, fashion or personalities I am drawn to simple elegance. Don’t call my look a cliche; I prefer enduring style.

When it comes to my skin in Second Life, I am very particular. I often see skins that I love in the promo photos or even on other avatars, but I will never, ever buy a skin without demoing it first. Clothing and accessories define your style; your skin defines who you are. So it was a big step for me to subscribe to Powder Pack for the first time. I have been checking the event for several months and finally decided to push aside my anxiety of not knowing what I might receive and purchase the October box for LeLutka. And I was pleasantly surprised.

I can’t say that I will wear any of the skins or makeup on a daily basis, but I will be happy to dip into these treasures whenever I feel a need to switch things up. Including body appliers with the head appliers is a huge bonus, and I will definitely give some of the creators’ new releases a try in the future. If I want drama, I’ve got it. If I want exotic, it’s now in my inventory. And even when I want to show off classic beauty, I have all of the tools I will need.

In the inimitable words of Professor Henry Higgins, “But I’m used to hear say, ‘Good morning’ everyday. Her joys, her woes, her highs, her lows. A second nature to me now. Like breathing out and breathing in. I’m very grateful she’s a woman! And so easy to forget. Rather like a habit one can always break! And yet, I’ve grown accustomed to the trace of something in the air. Accustomed to her… face.”

And what a face it is…of My Fair Lady.

I just don’t know why some things happen. Whether they occur for a reason or if it is just random. Does karma exist? Do good things happen in threes? Does a black cloud hang over my head?

No details – sorry. I’m just in a philosophical state of mind and you are being subjected to my minor ramblings. Again, sorry. I know you come here for the lowdown on what’s new on the grid.

What’s new, in this case, is the Isa Bodysuit from JustBECAUSE. It is a new main store release and it is simply stunning. It comes in either a sheer or solid version with a delicate floral applique. I am wearing the sheer version in one of the ombre tones, which is exclusive to the fatpack. It clings in all the right places and it is worth splashing out on the full set; this is a versatile piece that can be worn alone or with a skirt, shorts or pants with careful layering.

Why are you still here? Why aren’t you out shopping? *shakes head* I just don’t know.

I’m heading out for Colour Day (revising my roots, in other words), but I wanted to post this before the magic begins.

If you are ready for summer already, you need to grab these fabulous cutoffs from *Just BECAUSE*. The detail is incredible (look at the frayed threads on the unfinished edges) and there is a huge range of colours. Each set includes two versions and the fatpack includes three exclusive colours. You can grab these at the mainstore.

Don’t forget Pose Fair 2017 continues through April 29th. The Balloon Dreams pose prop from Exposeur is packed full of fun and festive poses that are just delightful. You can find this set at the landing point store (but don’t miss the other Exposeur booths scattered throughout the sim).

I really loved this round of Luxe Box. Blueberry delivers, as usual, and the Milky Pals set from MishMish is just too adorable for words.
