If you read my blog more than occasionally, you know there are a few people out there who inspire me. Some as bloggers and photographers, others as creators, and a few who I am blessed to call my friends. One name that pops up frequently is also now my sister. I admire her for all of the reasons I have mentioned already, but mainly because she has a spirit I admire, creativity that has no bounds and a heart as big as all the oceans and all the seas…and then some.

Rwah.

Rwah is in the process of sharing both her creativity and generosity. She has moved onto a homestead sim and is in the midst of turning it into a showplace for people to visit. Photographers will be welcome to drop in and shoot anytime, anyone can come and wander around and just enjoy what she is building.

…If she ever gets it done 😛

I have visited a few times as she tries to turn the image in her ever-so-astonishing mind into a reality. Each time I have been there, it has been different. And not yet complete.

But it will be worth the wait. Rwah is a perfectionist and until it matches what she sees in her head, it will continue to be a work in progress.

I popped over on the weekend to take a peep. The cafe is an inviting little spot overlooking a cemetery. Yep, a cemetery. But never fear; no ghosts or ghouls were wandering through the trees. At least not on Sunday; I can’t vouch for what may have happened in the intervening days 😉

I expect there will be lots more changes before Rwah finally opens the sim to the public. But there’s just one thing I have to say:

1 Kuro Curiosities

I love Kuro, as you can probably tell from the numerous items from Luana Dawg that I post. Everything she does is of exceptional quality but my favourites are always the more whimsical curiosities she creates.

Take this…well, everything in this picture! The little puppet/wooden dolls creatures she has created are a group gift to celebrate her move to a new location. The Industrial Flower is/was part of The Neighbourhood this weekend (ack! I’m posting this late, but it’s available in the mainstore) and the chair is another part of Luana’s release for this month’s round of The Challenge.

She always cries in the rain…

I went wandering on the weekend, looking for a suitable location to show off the new rain hat by JfL Hats. I stumbled across several photos of H22O on Flickr, and upon arrival, I knew I had found the perfect place. Designed by the same creator of one of my favourite now-gone sims, 2304 Rain, it has the same haunted yet awe-inspiring feel that had me lost for hours simply exploring, taking photos and soaking in the atmosphere.

It is definitely worth a visit.

Also worth visiting is the upcoming event, The 24 Square. Mark your calendar; it runs from September 5-13 and you can find this beautifully made hat by Johnfrancis Laville, one of six colours in the box. It is Materials Enabled, so it perfectly captures the appearance of being wet. It is available in limited quantities, so don’t miss out.
