I first saw photos of Isle of Mousai over on Honour McMillan’s blog. It intrigued me, with its eclectic design. Main Street meets Steampunk meets Goth. It was fairly busy, with most people hanging out in the Main Street area. I chose to move on, rather than having to pose in front of the throngs.

The castle/mansion was never out of my line of sight. Whether I was admiring an angel or looking for my reflection in a pond.

Even when I flew up to the little house perched atop a floating island to peer over the land, it was there…off in the distance, its gables and foreboding facade making its way into my vista.

It’s a great place to visit. It is an Adult sim that will be hosting live music performances. There are signs near the landing point to give you the details.

Take a friend. Explore. See what this mystical place has in store for you. Just be careful if you head up the steps to that house. I got the distinct feeling it might be haunted 😉

Taking A Day Off

1 Chandelle Closing Sale

Now, what do I mean, I’m taking a day off since I’m posting an entry? Well, yesterday I puttered around in the new house by Thaino Designs and didn’t take any pictures. So this morning, before starting my day, I took a quick peek at my finished photos and found one I hadn’t used before. The outfit is one I put together from Chandelle Design for the in-world closing sale back in December. Since I didn’t manage to get the photo up before the sale closed I have deleted my credits 😦 However, the jeans, top and sweater all came from Chandelle.

I took a quick peek and there is still a Marketplace store. The jeans are still available, but it appears the top and sweater went away with the store. Still, I like the bright look so I’ll give what credits I can remember.

And now I’m off to face my day. I *should* be back tomorrow with fresh photos and actual credits – not just a facsimile done from my Swiss-cheese brain 😉

I took a break yesterday from my shabby shopping to concentrate on chic. The Hype Jumper is the latest release from Indyra Originals and there is nothing shabby about it. It is an elegant jumpsuit with simple lines and rich textures.

I could have dressed this up with statement jewelry, but I decided that the Knotted ensemble from Cae plus a bit of cleavage was more than enough. I am, after all, a simple girl who occasionally manages to pull off simply chic.
