1 Kufi Seven Deadly Sins_022J

I guess it’s probably politically incorrect to wear a kufi with a dress called “Seven Deadly Sins – Vanity”, but I took the “vanity” part to heart and just wore what looked good to me. I don’t like to discuss either religion or politics, so I’ll just talk about the gifts 😉

Funny story about this dress. My friend, Rwah, sent it to me when I was offline a few days ago. It’s a prize from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival going on now. I saw her message offline, but sadly, my IMs had been capped and when I logged on, her message was nowhere to be found. I nearly cried, knowing the gift she sent me was transfer only.

But this afternoon, while going through my Objects folder, there it was! Of all of the Seven Deadly Sins dresses I had seen in blog posts, this was by far my favourite. Leave it to Rwah to know my taste 🙂

To top it all, John sent me his latest hat, the kufi, which I thought would work with this dress. I’m going to say now, having an inventory full of older stuff comes in handy – I spent quite a lot of time editing this flexi-hair from Analog Dog, because I wanted long wavy locks to compliment this outfit. I was going to post a picture of myself without the hat after editing – talk about hat hair! But, alas, my computer is being very naughty and I’ve barely been able to complete this post (knock on wood that I am able to finish it before it crashes again 😦 )

So, thank you to Rwah and John for making this girl very happy today – gifties galore!

So Many Events, So Little Time

So many shopping events going on right now, I was torn where to start! In addition to the ongoing Cosmopolitan Sales Room (CSR) event, the OMG Gacha is open over at Jersey Shore and a new edition of Chapter Four has opened! And starting on Sunday, the Men Only Gacha (MOG) begins. Now, before you ladies get your knickers in a knot, it’s about time the guys had their own event, don’t you think? I know I’ll be checking it out, just as I always visit each round of The Men’s Department. Lots of stuff is unisex (like the hat I’m wearing from JfL and will be part of the MOG) and I usually check out what might look good in the Man Cave. And since it’s a gacha event, you can pick up some nifty stuff for your guy without having to drag him along, whinging about having to go shopping. How could he possibly resist a gift from his special gal? 😉

Here is a closer look at the hat, some of the goodies from *ionic* I picked up at both Chapter Four and OMG Gacha, and this silky dress from Look*Me at CSR. It has a texture-change HUD, so you can mix and match your favourite accessories to suit.

As for me, I’ll spread my time around all of these just to find a look I love. With so many events, what else is a girl to do?

Yes, I recovered from my cleaning and now I’m sitting here, wondering what to do with myself. It’s a wonderful thing about Second Life, how spoiled for choice we are. I could go shopping or dancing or exploring or a hundred different things. It’s a glorious position to be in, yet no less frustrating. I may have to draw straws or pull an idea out of a hat. But I’ll head out in hopes that I can make up my mind.
