There are two events you don’t want to ever miss – The Liaison Collaborative and The Chapter Four. TLC opens on the 7th and TCF has just opened today.

Endless Summer is the theme for this month’s round of TLC, so take a peek at some of the fun-in-the-sun items available. Dreamful has opened with some beautifully delightful new items for those who love an ethereal existence. This is very much an event for those with a feminine flair. It includes styles for both adults and children, so it is really a family affair.

Warm Animations is offering this lovely pergola for the event. It has a pale blush colour and soft, inviting cushions – a perfect spot to curl up alone or to cuddle with your sweetheart. It is materials enabled, so it plays in the light beautifully. It comes in a PG version only – fitting for this event and suitable for any environment.

The event runs through August 22nd, so make sure you stop by to fulfill your warmest dreams.

1 Fantastical Dreams sm

No matter what you choose to have as your focus in Second Life, it can turn out to be your Fantastical Dreams. That is what riannlyn (Rainny Darkfury) and her sister, Nikki Lacey, have done. They have created a picturesque fantasy-styled sim to showcase their very real creative talents.

The sim is great for photos, socialising and just having fun. In Rainny’s own words:

It’s a place you can always come, visit, cuddle, play games, hangout, if you are in the group. To get into the group is a join fee of 250L. This also gives you rez rights – just remember to clean up after yourself. To join the group, copy & paste this link into local chat in world: secondlife:///app/group/33aca8e7-c6e0-8576-3275-ab2a0451a21c/about . Or, there is a group joiner board at the entrance.

I visited today, and I was delighted. It is a lovely place, just screaming to be photographed. “Ground level” is a water-filled fantasy with loads of places to stop and rest, or cuddle if you are with your partner. There is a series of floating islands that includes an area for games, another with a lovely lake and yet another with a gigantic tree house. It has some familiar items, but what I love the most is there are lots and lots of new and unfamiliar quality items. For instance, you will probably recognise the tree tunnel from Studio Skye, but you may not have yet seen the bed from Cheeky Pea, which was just released a few days ago. In other words, it is not a carbon copy of other sims on the grid, with just the props rearranged. I have created a slide show below to tempt you with the beautiful and whimsical scenery.

If you have any questions, you can IM Rainny or Nikki in world. The joining fee is not expensive, but it is just enough to keep griefers at bay. And it is a small price to pay for your very own fantastical dream.
