I obviously had a lousy first date. I am actually using a couples pose – you can see why my partner didn’t make it onto the pose stand. And yes, this is the last date, too.

Don’t think you are limited to using two people with couples or friends poses. Frequently you can use one or the other of the two poses as a single. That is the case with this pose from !bang for Fifty Linden Friday (FLF), called “my world.” While he didn’t rock mine, the female half of this pose did, so you’re seeing it here. FLF is a one-day sale, so make sure you stop by tomorrow (September 25th) to pick up one of the two couples poses Luna has on special. I took the opportunity to show off some of the pretties at this round of Shiny Shabby, including the top, skirt and the shoes from fri.day . Yes, if you look closely enough you can see them! I also took the opportunity to give you another sneak preview of Rwah’s sim. I am hoping that if I keep giving you snippets of her work that she’ll actually get around to opening it to the public 😉 Stay tuned – I’ll add the SLurl if she ever does. It’s the perfect place to go on a first date – you can hang onto him if you like him and if you don’t, well, you can just hang him!

Not everybody can pull off wearing plaid. Some may say you have to be insane to even try it, unless you have at least a recessive hillbilly gene or two floating around in your DNA. But this cute dress from Kaithleen’s at My Attic is cute enough to let you get away with it. And of course, the boots from fri.day for Shiny Shabby just top it all off and make it a super-sane choice!

No comment on my companion’s fashion choices…

I shot this photo at Rwah’s sim, which it seems she might actually finish before winter sets in! It’s pretty friggin’ awesome (as her sims always are, whether they are finished or not). I can’t give you a location just yet. But she did say that I could tell you, “Soon.”

I just hope she stays almost sane enough to actually open this one up before she blows it all up again 😉

1 Evergreen Nook 1

Just when you have wound down from shopping at the early events of the month, it’s time to gear up for Shiny Shabby and My Attic @ The Deck. There are loads of goodies at both events, and I took the opportunity to take a few of them out for a spin.

My destination was a lovely sim called Evergreen Nook. It is all decked out for autumn with a very rustic feel, so it complimented the Town & Country theme of My Attic this round. My skirt from K-CODE, earrings and bracelet from Cae and shoes from Essenz are all from this event, and I found perfect compliments from Shiny Shabby with my scarf from Apple May Designs and pose from !bang. They’re all reasons to get up in the morning and get out and about!

Head into town to do a little shopping then make your way to the country to enjoy the lovely autumn weather.
