I do believe Halloween is a bigger deal in Second Life than Christmas. Everywhere you turn, there’s some spooky, scary or cute item to celebrate this (mainly) American holiday. I have to admit Halloween isn’t my favourite holiday, but it’s hard not to get caught up in the fun that Second Life creates.

RubyStarlight Writer has set up gacha machines at the Exposeur main store with cute pumpkins with poses that you can grab for only 5L a play. Each pumpkin has a unique pose (with a mirror), so if you’re looking for an inexpensive but quality pose prop for Halloween, don’t miss your chance. And if you’re not into the ghoulish type of costume, this sweet outfit from .::Vivid::. gives you just enough of a costumey feel with the wings on the back of the tied-up tee shirt. It’s great for those of us in the southern hemisphere who are heading into hot weather – who wants to be swaddled in a mummy’s wrapping when the temperatures are soaring?

Yes, I recovered from my cleaning and now I’m sitting here, wondering what to do with myself. It’s a wonderful thing about Second Life, how spoiled for choice we are. I could go shopping or dancing or exploring or a hundred different things. It’s a glorious position to be in, yet no less frustrating. I may have to draw straws or pull an idea out of a hat. But I’ll head out in hopes that I can make up my mind.
