In case you weren’t aware, Furillen reopened last week. With it the snow has returned, and the rooms in the hotel have been imaginatively revamped. In its original incarnation, these rooms were mostly sparsely decorated, but they were still somewhat traditional. That has gone out the window…if you can find one, or even the door! I’m not going to say more about that; you will have to visit Furillen to see for yourself.

There is just something about this sim that makes me want to strip down to my undies. I have taken many, many photographs in the various nooks and crannies – and sometimes, more public spaces – in my lingerie. I do try to be discreet; however, this time, I rezzed my LUMIPro sitball to lock in my pose…and first popped through the roof and then into the room below. Serene, the Janitor of Furillen, was quick to note my scantily clad figure dangling precipitously through the floor. But since my cheeks were already on display, I didn’t worry about the pink hue they took on; despite any embarrassment and a spectacular crash, I finished the shoot.

Now, I didn’t choose just any old lingerie to expose to anyone who happened to be wandering on the sim; I was wearing this evocative teddy from ~Blacklace~ to be released at the upcoming Vintage Fair. It harkens back to a time when the curves of a woman were something to be celebrated – not a cause for shame. And the pose from * La Jolie Rose *, also for Vintage Fair, displays those curves spectacularly with a gentle arch of the back and arms. If you are in need of classic pin-up poses, this is the set for you.

Take the time to visit Furillen, then head over to the Vintage Fair on June 10th. Both are worth it.

As a rare surprise, when I logged into Second Life yesterday, my sister, Cranky was online. We hardly see each other, so I was thrilled to hear the little “ding ding” of my IM box. We were both working on photos and when she finished hers, she popped over for a visit.

I was trying to find the perfect angle to show the stunning back of the dress from Salt & Pepper for We < 3 Roleplay. In the time it took me to adjust my camera angle and light for the first shot, Cranky announced she had a present for me. I squealed, as I love gifts, but I wasn’t expecting something as special and lovely as this.

It’s almost time for The Vintage Fair to make its return! Mark June 10th on your calendar.

Whether you’re looking for the 20’s, 40’s, 50’s or 80’s, there is something to be found for you. Not just limited to fashion, you can also find poses & props, accessories, skins and homeware. It’s the bee’s knees, the grooviest, the bomb!

This is a teaser of a few items from the participating designers – in fact, everything except my skin and eyes are from Vintage Fair.
