With close to 50 designers participating, that’s a lot of newness you won’t have to wait to get your hands on! Just pop over to their website and click each vendor’s logo to link you to a preview of their product, then it’s just one more click directly to the Marketplace listing. No more waiting to get in, no more landing on someone’s head and walking through sludge to move off the landing point, no more waiting for the vendors to rez. Simple, yet ingenious!

Apple May Designs is offering the adorable Dress For Tea at a discount for this event in two colours. It is very feminine and just a bit daring. The blue and black are on sale for the event, but there are other colours available at full price. Pick out your favourite and gloat over beating the event barrier!

It kind of feels like I am making a guest appearance on my own blog. I know I haven’t been very active lately; my real life job is sapping my energy and time. I am going to try to play catch up in the next few days; this photo (and the one for my next post) I actually took last weekend. But I just got around to working on them last night. What a way to spend a Friday evening!

The pretty nightie and shoes are gacha prizes from Salt & Pepper for The Gacha Garden. So delicate and feminine! The shrug is also by S&P for the same event, but it is the Seed of Inspiration prize. For those of you not familiar with this event, the vendor rewards you with a special gift after playing the machine 20 times. That is your seed of inspiration to keep playing! The shrug works with all of the pieces; the common babydoll and the rare dresses. You could even pair it with any other sleeveless top you have, making it a very versatile piece.

1 Stopping Traffic sm

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’ll realise that I don’t do urban. You’ll also know that I love the juxtaposition of extremes. So knowing I had this feminine and sexy teddy from Apple May Designs to blog, I wanted to do something different. That’s why I didn’t photograph it yesterday; my brain was still pretty much mush from my work week.

Then this morning, while sipping a cup of coffee and scrolling through my Facebook feed, I saw the telephone booth from .UNTITLED. and I had to have it. It’s from a brand new store; two versions of the phone booth are all that are for sale at this time. But I am looking forward to whatever Supremebeing creates.

Then came my dilemma. How was I supposed to use lingerie with this creation? Urban grunge was the only thing I could come up with.

Oh, joy.

Having a sister who loves to create spaces with an urban feel helped out. I remembered one of Rwah’s go-to grunge designers and quickly hit Marketplace. Plus, being a gacha fiend, I knew I had some things from DRD that would work. Find a pose, throw in some mist and done!

I’m still not good at urban, but I know I’m going to be stopping traffic.
