It’s “that time of the month.” You know, Uber just opened. Just when the frenzy of Collabor88 and Shiny Shabby have died down, this event teases us to spend those last few Lindens we managed to hold on to for the first three weeks of the month.

The leg wraps I am wearing from fri.day at Uber are just so pretty! Delicate and feminine, they are the perfect way to go barefoot and be shod at the same time. Is it cheating? You’ll have to try to get into a convenience store wearing them to be sure 😉 They are a wonderful match with the lingerie from .::Dead Dollz::..

Make sure you hang onto a few of those L’s, though, because The Arcade is just around the corner! March 1st is one of those dates that is marked on a LOT of Second Life resident’s calendars as the gacha event to end all gacha events begins. While this event is always full of whimsical, must-have items, [ keke ] gives us whimsy and practicality at the same time. Her lovely garden accessories can easily find a permanent place in your SL home.

But be sure, before you throw away all of your money, you head over to Exposeur to take advantage of a MASSIVE sale and help out a good cause. RubyStarlight Writer, the owner and creative genius behind this pose/prop store, is desperately trying to raise funds for veterinarian bills for her two cats. At least one of them needs surgery; she is still waiting to hear whether both will, or not. The sale goes on indefinitely, but don’t waste any time heading to the main store. Everything is priced at 50-100L (including her amazing large pose props), with gachas reduced to 15L. There has never been a better time to stock your inventory with a pose to suit just about any occasion. And, you can help out Chloe and Brookie at the same time.

Stop just being window dressing; you’ve got shopping to do!

Even tuff girls love their shoes.

I’m not a biker chick, but while prepping for a client shoot, I decided to hop on the bike and see how it felt. It felt…strange. Uncomfortable, even. But with the right outfit and hair, I can pretend I’m in Rome for a day. Hey, Audrey Hepburn did it in Roman Holiday, so why can’t I? OK, so that was a scooter, but let’s not pick nits 😉

Honestly, this photo is all about the shoes. Fringe always makes me feel like a bit of a bad girl, albeit in a princess-y way. There is just something about the feel of the fabric swishing against your ankles to make even a debutante turn into a tuff chick. These babies are from Apple May Designs and can be found at the current round of Shiny Shabby. It is the first anniversary of this amazing event and there are some awesome gifts from these incredible designers. I’m not showing the gift from Apple May, but trust me, it’s worth putting on your shoes and heading over!

A dream is made of equal parts reality and fantasy. Or perhaps, rather than fantasy it is hopes and wishes. Of possibilities and aspirations. Of memories transformed into tales of indulgence and fulfillment, rewritten to salve our subconscious. A juxtaposition of everyday events with faraway desires. They are the attainment of our loftiest goals in our most unguarded state.

Or sometimes, they are simply strange glimpses into how far our imagination can take us.

A girl in lingerie and dangerously high heels atop a sandy mountain, watching a dove peck for food as flowery wind turbines gently tousle her hair. Yes, this is probably more of the latter than the former. But still, it is a legitimate dream, a play-by-play of her mind at its freest.
