The cuteness factor of the things in this photo is off the charts! So many adorable, cuddly things to talk about…

I’ll start with the boots from Apple May Designs. Fur, pearls and bows are a perfect combination to place them in the cuteness category. Available at Cosmopolitan, they come in white or black and are adorably priced, as well.

Next up is the snuggly jacket from {amiable}. I can feel the warmth just looking at it and the big bow is super cute. You need to hurry a bit to pick this up at Wayward Market, which closes on January 10th.

And what about my long little buddy there? I had to get to TMD to grab this little dauchshund from [sau]. Having once been owned by a little doxie, I was enraptured by the spunky character of these dogs captured so perfectly. Such personality!

While I was there, I went absolutely nuts over the pose props from Toro. Be sure you check them out; there are two different sets, or you can grab both in a fatpack.

I’ve blogged the kittens from JIAN before, but they are well-worth bringing out again. Especially because in true cat-like fashion, they are completely ignoring the rules 😉

Starting The New Year With A Bang

OK, so maybe the “bang” happened several months ago…

Actually, it began over a year ago for Apple May’s update of the Baby Bump. Version 2.0 has several upgrades:

– New hud controlled belly progression with FOUR stages
– Omega compatibility
– Skin appliers included + Skin Tinter
– Easy to use hud for hiding/showing different clothing layers
– Now provides 4 layers: skin, under garments, tattoo, and clothes.
– Easy to use hud controlled layers with on/off buttons as well as blend or mask alpha options
– Previous appliers DO work on your updated belly!

I have to say that while skin matching has never been a strength of mine, I was able to very closely match my PXL Natural skin using the HUD. I actually didn’t have to do much blending in Photoshop for this photo. I don’t have any appliers for the product, so I can’t personally vouch for how those work, but I have never had problems with appliers for any other product, so I wouldn’t anticipate any issues with these. The HUD is simple to use and it can be minimised on your screen, out of the way when you are not editing.

While this isn’t a product I would buy for myself (not planning any SL pregnancies), but for those of you who are looking for new beginnings, it is a well-crafted product with loads of capability. If you already own one and are expecting another bundle of joy, you can receive the update. If you did not receive your update just visit the redelivery tab on the information board in store to have it redelivered. Here is wishing everyone a happy 2016. I hope your year is full of joy and prosperity, health and good cheer. Thank you for stopping by this little space of mine; I really have enjoyed sharing my Second Life with you and getting to know those of you who have struck up a conversation on your visits.

I usually do a “year in review” post about this time, but instead, this year instead of an evaluation of the past, I’m going to focus on watching the new year begin.
