This last week has seen several of my friends do things in Second Life that I know they will end up regretting. Repeating mistakes, jumping into things without forethought, burning bridges with people they should be reaching out to. I have kept my mouth shut, but as I told my brother on Wednesday, if I ended up unable to DJ on Friday night it wouldn’t have been because I still didn’t have my voice back; it would be because I had bitten off my tongue!

It’s kind of like standing on a cliff, wondering who will jump and who will survive.

I’m standing there now with some people who are very close to me, but I’m stepping back from the cliff. I will maintain my silence, turn around and face my own life. After all, to get to that cliff, I had to climb the mountain.

Special thanks to a few people who reminded me that I am there (perhaps without even realising it) – my lil Cao, my bubby, K and of course, as always, my Shining Star ♥
