I’m sorry to say I haven’t heard a lot about a sales event going on in Second Life right now – Rock Your Rack. It is a benefit event with part (or all) of the proceeds going to fight Breast Cancer. Presented by Models Giving Back, at least one item from each designer is 100% donation with many others at a lower contribution. While mainly focused on women’s fashion, there are some items for men, as well as unisex (my friend John from JfL has an exclusive black bolero hat with a red band that you should check out). The event runs through October 1, so hurry over to check it out!

The dress, by Poet’s Heart and jewelry set, by Lazuri are finds from this event. You can choose from four colours of the Reverie dress and you can either purchase the complete set of jewels or individual pieces.

I am not affiliated with this event, but it is a worthwhile cause I wanted to share. My life has been indirectly touched by breast cancer, so I am aware of the importance of continuing research. Anyway we can give back is a good thing. And if we end up looking romantically beautiful as a result, all the better.
