I have always been an avid reader – in fact, I’ve rarely met a book I didn’t like. Though I tend to read electronically now rather than turning the pages on an actual book, I feel a little panicky if I don’t have something to read. While I will read anywhere – on the train, while having my hair done, after crawling into bed at night – having a special, cozy spot for reading is the ideal.
I have always wanted a window seat or reading nook. Thanks to Piddler’s Perch, I can have one, at least in Second Life. I just need to finish cataloging these stacks of extra books!
Soft lighting and comfy clothes are just as important to a satisfying reading experience as a flowing narrative and plenty of crafty plot twists. I think I’ve got it covered – now, who pulled my bookmark out of my novel?????

lol I go for marathon sessions…colour, foils (every few visits), shampoo, cut, blow dry. And I often need to wait between stages. So I get reading done between gossip sessions. Um…I mean, work on my hair 😉
