Yesterday was the 8th of the month, and I’m sure for 49,127 of the 49,233 people that were online when I logged in, that meant trying to get into Collabor88. Yes, I was one of them, but I only tried once (and failed) and only after I had paid a visit to L’accessoires. My dear friend, Cao, has been teasing us with highlights of goodies from this event all week, so it was my first stop of the day.

This month, it is themed “Timeless Romance,” and it is a gacha event this time around. It is easy to navigate and the crowd was small, so I had no issues with rezzing or lag. What a breath of fresh air for a shopping experience!

And yes, I got the goods – lots of em! In addition to Cao’s blog, I had perused the offerings over on Seraphim, so I knew what I wanted to play for before I arrived. I did well at sticking to the machines I had in mind and I did extremely well at getting the items in the colours I wanted. And while this is an accessories event, I even scored the stunning dress from Shiki I’m wearing.

But, as we know, it’s the accessories that are the star of this event. Here’s a peek at a couple I nabbed:

The earrings from Kunglers are one of my favourite items, and somehow I managed to snag the “P” charm bracelet from .la petite mort. on only the fourth try! That was a huge relief; with the full alphabet set to dispense from the machine I could have been in for a long afternoon – kinda like I was trying to score that sloth hat at that “other” gacha event a couple of months ago 😉

Word of warning: the earrings from Kunglers came in a box with an unpacker, but the earrings didn’t actually transfer to my inventory. I had to dig the boxes out of the trash and open them manually to get them on my ears. Luckily, I hadn’t purged my trash yet, so double check that your stuff is in your possession before you do your housekeeping. I would have cried if the garbage man had been sporting these babies instead of me!

Oh, and if you want a “B” or a “Z” bracelet, I’ve gotcha covered. Just let me know. I’ve got more stuff I’ll try to show off this week, and a few spares if anyone needs some lovely baubles. And since everything is Transfer, I’m letting any guys who read this blog know it’s a great place to go to find a Valentine’s Day gift.

So if you are trying to get into another venue and can’t, that’s ok; there are always better things to do – like feeding your gacha fetish at L’accessoires this month.
