I have always loved the phrase, “tickling the ivories.” I took piano lessons as a child, but I abused the poor things, rather than tickling them. I love music, but I am an appreciator – not a musician. I am lucky that I can play an iPod since I have had little luck with instruments.
I may be following the spirit of the law, rather than the letter by choosing “Ivories” for my I entry in the Inventory Alphabet challenge, but I loved this picture so much that I couldn’t wait until I got to P for Piano. Besides, I have something else planned for that letter 😉

When I saw I for Ivories, my first thought was oh ohhhh…..she doesnt have an elephant in her inventory too, you did say it was huge! But then I read on and the ‘tinkling’ bit gave it away (before I came here and saw the pic). Her gown could be ivory colour too….neutral, earthy tones with a touch of luster.
Im loving your alphabet choices….and wonder what J will bring. Intrigued, hell yeah!
lol I didn’t even think about an elephant! I could have set on on the piano next to me…or even playing for me.
I chose that gown because it did seem close to Ivory to me, even though it’s called Nude. 🙂
