I always wanted to have a lemonade stand when I was a kid. I saw them on television and read about them in books and it seemed like the perfect enterprise for a child. However, when you live on a farm with your closest neighbour almost a mile away, it doesn’t allow for much foot traffic. Even as a little girl I understood the value of location, location, location.
I have one now. It sits in front of my show room so that anyone who passes by can pick up a cool, refreshing glass to parch their thirst. I also have one at home on the pier. And I set up another to take this photo. A girl can never have too many shoes or too many lemonade stands, you know 😉

Great story.
Thank you 🙂
Love the picture… and I really like those flowers.
Thank you! I just wish the HPMD stuff wasn’t so expensive, I would buy it all! But unless I go ahead and redo the island into grass/woodland, I can’t justify the expense 😦
Yes, they are a little high. Then again I have noticed a spike in prices for many things. It used to be so much fun when you found all colors of an item for sale as one grouping instead of what I’m seeing now. I normally don’t hold back if I want something, though I am a bit more selective these days.
I guess the fact they are copy makes it worth it. I really hate that so many garden creators make their items no copy. I can’t live without my beach grass from Kidd, and although it is no copy, there are quite a few of each style in the box. But if I make the change to grass, I’ll be spending a fortune at HPMD, I’m sure!
Just depends on the grass you want.. there are lots of grasses out there.. I’ve played with many.
Creators should offer discounts to people (bloggers) who promote their products. I visited Collabor (first time) today…after yesterdays post, and bought my self two tops and a pair of leggings. That top sure is ‘kinky’ 🙂 I wear a bikini under mine.
Most creators have chosen bloggers they give review copies to. Others will just drop items on bloggers they like. One hair store – I think it’s LeLutka – will refund 50% of the cost of hair for bloggers if you send the creator a link to the blog post. lol but I think if creators gave away their stuff to every blogger who uses their stuff would be out of business in a hurry 😉
True.
I’m going to brag about this a little bit – the photo for this post is the LumiPro picture of the day! http://lumipro.blogspot.com.au/2014/04/lumipro-photo-of-day_13.html
Or lemonade stands that sell shoos for that matter! 😀
You, my dear, are a marketing genius! ❤
I can so easily picture you as a kid with a lemonade stand. Not only as a kid I realize now. You, lemonade stand that just works. I love this picture and the post 🙂
I could have been an entrepeneur if I only had that lemonade stand! 😉
