The Girl In The Hat

1 The Girl In The Hat

There is just something about a girl in a hat. She may be an ordinary girl with doubts about herself, but when she puts on a hat, she changes. Whether it is a beret, a wide-brimmed sun hat or a fedora, when she places it carefully atop her head something magical happens. It is as if a prince has crowned her with a tiara. She is more confident, whimsical and proud. She transforms from a wallflower to the belle of the ball. All eyes turn to her as she enters a room, a lovely centrepiece to be admired.

She is simply perfection, this girl in the hat.

Yes, right on there Peep… for me, I find them the hardest things to fit in sl. I have a few and love them but unless I wear them without hair (OMG) I hardly ever put one on!

lol yes, that can be a challenge. Two suggestions – hair attachments like a ponytail or bun with a matching hairbase work for a lot of hats. Check out Amacci – I know there are others, but that is my go to. The other tip is to make sure you have some non-mesh hair that is hat friendly and you can edit. That is what I did in this picture. It is much more time consuming, but I love having more than a ponytail with most hats 🙂 Make sure you make a copy before editing the linked parts, though, because the hair will never be wearable without a hat again lol

Thanks for those tips, I will try them.

That tattoo, my eyes and Slink hands are about the only things I never take off 🙂

Oh, when editing the hair, don’t be afraid to stuff bits into your head. Amazingly, it doesn’t poke your eye from behind 😉

Talk to me! (please? )
