When thinking of a desert, usually I imagine a desolate, lonely place, devoid of life and colour. But that is far from the truth. The shadows and occasional hummock of grass give it a palette that is stark, but beautiful. The sky, redolent of reds and yellows are the backdrop to the austere artwork.
It is a blank canvas, just waiting for the artist’s inspiration.

….did you invent this scene so you could wear those harem pants hehe
lol I didn’t actually think about it, but if I say yes, does it make me sound smarter? 😉
This is inspired! I like it – a lot – and not just because I used to live in the California high desert (where it can be so beautiful sometimes that you just cannot believe it). I love the colours and that distant haze that reminds me of looking up toward the Sierra Nevada from my kitchen window on one of those hothothot days (117 degrees F in the shade) when you wanted it to rain so badly that you could smell it 1000 miles away…
Thank you, Peep!
