I remember times when I had days like this – relaxing on a raft on a lake, not a worry to crease my brow, except whether or not I would be attacked by a swan. Actually, I was on my dock, but it was still restful as I allowed the gentle sounds of waves lapping against the shore to soothe me. I always kept a wary eye on the swans, but a stash of stale bread that I could toss to them kept them at bay.
Sometimes days gone by are a little pick-me-up when the weather is bleak and your spirits are low. Remembered moments; remembered joys.

We are of the same mind Peep. Rather than organizing a big party to celebrate our anniversary, I bought a raft and we drifted out into the ocean for hrs, alone. Well together lol. Was very peaceful. Didnt see and swans though 🙂
