She walks into the foyer of the decrepit theatre, her pulse throbbing in her throat, her heart pounding in her chest. She hears a sound – a low whisper, perhaps? Or just the wind creaking through the dilapidated walls? She freezes, the whisper now resembling a quiet moan. Then as she peers to her right, she sees eyes in the darkness blink once, twice, three times. As an eerie glow begins to emanate from behind an ancient carnival machine, its inhabitant raises a hand and with a gnarled finger beckons her forward. Trembling, she remains in her spot, fearful of her questionable fortune.
