1 Fantastical Dreams sm

No matter what you choose to have as your focus in Second Life, it can turn out to be your Fantastical Dreams. That is what riannlyn (Rainny Darkfury) and her sister, Nikki Lacey, have done. They have created a picturesque fantasy-styled sim to showcase their very real creative talents.

The sim is great for photos, socialising and just having fun. In Rainny’s own words:

It’s a place you can always come, visit, cuddle, play games, hangout, if you are in the group. To get into the group is a join fee of 250L. This also gives you rez rights – just remember to clean up after yourself. To join the group, copy & paste this link into local chat in world: secondlife:///app/group/33aca8e7-c6e0-8576-3275-ab2a0451a21c/about . Or, there is a group joiner board at the entrance.

I visited today, and I was delighted. It is a lovely place, just screaming to be photographed. “Ground level” is a water-filled fantasy with loads of places to stop and rest, or cuddle if you are with your partner. There is a series of floating islands that includes an area for games, another with a lovely lake and yet another with a gigantic tree house. It has some familiar items, but what I love the most is there are lots and lots of new and unfamiliar quality items. For instance, you will probably recognise the tree tunnel from Studio Skye, but you may not have yet seen the bed from Cheeky Pea, which was just released a few days ago. In other words, it is not a carbon copy of other sims on the grid, with just the props rearranged. I have created a slide show below to tempt you with the beautiful and whimsical scenery.

If you have any questions, you can IM Rainny or Nikki in world. The joining fee is not expensive, but it is just enough to keep griefers at bay. And it is a small price to pay for your very own fantastical dream.

You don’t normally see me changing my skin. I find one that feels like me, and I stick with it. But when I tried on this beautiful skin from :Soul:. for Collabor88, I fell a little bit in love.

No, it doesn’t really feel like me; it feels like I am in a dream.

When she is sporting these adorable booties and matching stockings, has a nice supply of champagne on ice with sparkly baubles, photos of Hollywood leading men and lots of nostalgia, she might just put herself there.

You can find the boots and stockings from fri.day in Cute World at The Crossroads Event, the champagne on ice from [ keke ] at Uber and the light bubbles (also from [ keke ]) at The Crystal Heart Festival, all during the month of July.
