Wasn’t I a happy girl to find these sparkly, shiny pendants from [ keke ] and the silky, satiny shoes from Apple May Designs waiting for me? These are just the kinds of things that send my squee-factor off the charts!

[ keke ] has released these pendants for the August round of The Forest. It has just opened today (August 11th) and runs through the 25th. This is the second month for this unique event, where you pay one flat group joining fee, then collect all of the pretties scattered through the forest. There are no surprises; you can wander around the venue to see what is offered before joining the group and picking up your items. With 21 top designers participating, it is well worth the investment. Just remember you need to rejoin the group each month. All details can be found on The Forest Event blog.

If you are one of the fortunate ones who has been able to make it into Collabor88 this month for the 5th anniversary edition, you are not only lucky but have probably seen these shoes from Apple May Designs. If you are still waiting to get in, then mark them down on your “must have” list – they are gorgeous! The texturing is divine and the bow at the ankle makes these the perfect date night heels. Perfect….did I mention that they are perfect???

When she is sporting these adorable booties and matching stockings, has a nice supply of champagne on ice with sparkly baubles, photos of Hollywood leading men and lots of nostalgia, she might just put herself there.

You can find the boots and stockings from fri.day in Cute World at The Crossroads Event, the champagne on ice from [ keke ] at Uber and the light bubbles (also from [ keke ]) at The Crystal Heart Festival, all during the month of July. Just look at me. Gorgeous! Check out those shoes – aren’t they everything delicate and feminine and girly? I’m just spectacularly pretty in pink today!

Yet, here I sit, waiting. For…I’m not quite sure. But I’m tired of waiting. Time to get off my land or platform and DO. Something. Anything. (Besides shopping.)

Taking pictures has been great therapy, but I’ve kind of forgotten why I originally joined Second Life – to meet people, have fun, socialise. Well, not exactly forgotten…just forgotten how to.

I’m digging through my “Little Book of How to Have Fun” and reading the instructions. I’ll be there, I promise.
