Eucalyptus, Agave & A Rubber Tree, Please

I love sun rooms. The airy feeling in an enclosed space is a lovely place to just relax with a cup of tea and a good book. Requisite plants give it even more of that outdoor-while-inside feel.

The plants, in this case, are from {what next} for today’s Fifty Linden Friday. These beautifully crafted plants come in either a potted or stand version and all are texture-change for the pots, and I mean, there are TONS of choices. Plain or patterned, the possibilities are endless. You can create your own virtual jungle with these versatile plants. Not shown, but also available, are lovely daffodils bursting from their own planters. Don’t miss out on these bargains for today.

The sun room is compliments of the La Cas Azul house from [Merak] from the last round of Deco(c)rate. It is fun and bohemian with just enough room to be cozy for one or two. And a perfect setting for a eucalyptus, an agave and a rubber tree, if you please.

I Might Have Been An Artist

I’m taking a break from my blogging commitments to do a post of things I bought, just because I love them. I played probably more than I should on the !gO! gacha machine at Shiny Shabby, not to win a Rare (which I did, by the way), but to get this top. Free-spirited, fun and perfectly textured, it is a wonderful top for casual prettiness. The rolled-cuff straight-leg jeans from *COCO* at Uber are another great find for just kicking around. But my favourite find are these tippy-toe flat sandals from {kokoia}. This is a new store to me, but I couldn’t resist these adorable shoes that come with 10 beautiful textures via a HUD for only 99L! I love flat shoes, but I prefer the look of heels (or tiptoes) for the length they give my legs. This is a perfect storm of sandal and sexy calves and thighs.

The scene is from on location at Elysion, a members-only sim. It seemed to work perfectly with my carefree look. It made me think that had my talents run a different direction, I might have been an artist.

Instead, I guess I’ll just have to be content with being a happy shopper.

Check out the stunning necklace and earrings from Baiastice at The Liaison Collaborative. These are truly statement pieces and you only have a couple of days left to grab them at the event before it closes on March 30.

A few days ago I promised a closer look at the latest fedora from JfL Hats, and here it is. The texture of the suede just makes me want to run my fingers across it, then smooth it back down. This is, once again, the bright pink, but all of the hats in this release are lighter colours than the usual JfL pallete. They are perfect for the ladies, but will still work great for the guys. Do go check them out – they are new releases at the main store.

As I was scrolling through my JfL Hats folder to find this photo, I realised that I have been blogging for John for almost four years. He is the designer I have blogged for the longest. He has believed in me – stuck with me – as I have slowly become a bit better at blogging. OK, I can say easily that I have become a better photographer during that time. I don’t actually have the first photo I blogged for JfL – those images were stored on a back up hard drive that sadly failed – but the images I have go back to October of 2013. And I know I was blogging for JfL Hats for a few months before that. Looking through those images, I smiled, I cringed and laughed out loud at my efforts.

All in all, it was a lovely recollection.
