I had planned to blog the beautiful lilies from [ keke ] and the lovely photo frames from {what next} over a week ago, but I wasn’t happy with the photos I shot. I typically don’t like to reshoot H&G pictures, because it takes me so long to set up the shots, and time has been in short supply for me lately. However, this hairstyle and dress were just begging for romantic, nostalgic treatment so I decided to scrap the old picture that was sitting in my blog draft and take those lilies and frames in a different direction. I’m glad I did.

The Lilies Galore pack from [ keke ] is available at the July round of The Forest. This is a brand new event that is completely different. You join the in-world group and then you go to the event and collect all of the products from the vendors there. The cost to join is L$1000 and this month there are 19 participating designers, so that works out to just over $52 Lindens each. All of the details are found on the blog (linked above).

Before you jump into the group, do please check out the shopping guide. Several of the products are mesh body/applier specific, so if you don’t use the included bodies/parts, you will need to weigh up the value of the remaining items to determine if this way of shopping is of value to you. You can join the group at any time during the event and then will be ejected when the round is over, so you can the decide each round if you want to participate. You can also visit the event and look over the items personally before joining the group. There is even a group inviter when you land, so you can join while shopping. There is an additional free group you can join to keep you updated on when each round opens. The frames from {what next} are such versatile decor items. You not only have a choice of frame colour, you add your own photos, so they will capture your own personal memories. There are even full-perm templates of the photo sizes so you can export them and use them to resize your own pictures to fit perfectly, if you choose. They are available at Collabor88 through August 6th.

I can’t fail to mention the pretty hat and hair from .:EMO-tions:. for Hair Fair 2016. The set even includes the necklace and earrings I am wearing! The hat has three pre-defined textures, but I chose to recolour the straw-coloured hue to match my dress. The dress I bought…*Just BECAUSE*.
