1 Epiphany

Have you been to Epiphany? It’s a twist on the traditional gacha event where you can trade in extras and unwanted prizes for credits which you can exchange for an exclusive item. I’m still trying to decide if it is a blessing or a curse; while the idea of getting rid of unwanted prizes is pretty cool, it also means that sometimes you end up spending even more, trying to get that couple extra credits for an exclusive. And then you end up getting something else you like and you spend more, this time trying desperately to win a duplicate and wouldn’t you know it? You end up getting something you really wanted so you have to spend even more?

Clever? Oh, you bet it is. There’s no exit until you’ve emptied your bank account 😉

The skirt and top I’m wearing are the exclusives from Salt & Pepper. You can get the copy version for only 25 credits; the transfer style is 200.

Just a reminder that Hair Fair 2015 ends on July 26th so you only have a couple of days to get over there to scour the best collection of hair on four sims. And the 26th is Bandana Day, so doff your hair and don a bandana as a reminder of what this event is really all about – helping out Wigs for Kids.

This is Dave’s bed. Those are Dave’s shelves. That’s Dave’s rug. In fact, this is Dave’s room so all of this must be Dave’s stuff. But I have to ask…

Where the hell is Dave???

I guess if I’m stuck waiting for Dave I couldn’t do it in a better place. The bed by Kuro is soft and comfy (despite being built on a platform of cement blocks) and there are a lot of really interesting things to keep my attention. The vast majority comes from 6Âș Republic. I didn’t think the Industrial theme was my kind of thing, but then I stopped by. Boy, was I wrong! I loved so much that I had to walk around and make a list of all that I wanted and then rank the items so I didn’t go over my budget. Trust me, there is lots more that I couldn’t get, and still more in my inventory that didn’t make it into this photo!

I have to say that Dave has excellent taste, but is just a bit messy. Clothes and shoes on the floor, books scattered about, even candles lit and a cigarette left smouldering in the ashtray. Surely he won’t be gone long?

I also had the time to ponder one burning question:
