Something Old, Something New, Something Yet To Come

I am kind of fudging a bit, calling the watch from RealEvil Industries and harness from phedora “old”. They were just released in the February BishBox. They are great accessories, and should tempt you to sign up for the March edition, which releases on the 20th. It may not be too late, even, to get the February box at the BishBox headquarters. Click the link above and go check it out.

The “new” is definitely the stunning Iris lingerie from Salt & Pepper for Whore Couture Fair. From what I am hearing in group chats, this is a tough event to get into; but keep trying – it is open until the 31st, so there is plenty of time. The lace on this bra and panties set is exquisite and the collar (in either a decorative or RLVA version) is just so pretty and delicate. Must haves, for sure.

The “what is yet to come” is a sneak peak at the Erin skin by Izzie’s for Hair Fair 2017. This is release for Catwa mesh heads – I am wearing it with Kimberly. I love the options with the skin – you can add freckles, contours and moles – or any combination of those you choose. I honestly hadn’t found a skin I really liked with Kimberly (don’t ask me why I bought it!) until now. I am wearing a lighter shade than I normally wear; maybe this head just works better with lighter tones. But whether that is the reason or if this is just that spectacular a skin, I’m glad I found this combination.

Here’s a closeup:

Two-Stop Spring Shopping

1-two-stop-spring-shopping-sm

If you are ready to refresh your Second Life landscaping with lovely spring decor, there is no need to go event-hopping or even shop-hopping. Most of what you need can be found in two places. How easy is that?

{what next} is participating in Fifty Linden Friday with these gorgeous tulip planters in a multitude of colours. The planters themselves are texture-change so you can find the right style to suit yourself. Because they are copy/modify, I was able to edit the planters, make the bases transparent and plant a few in the ground. It is a great way to add bursts of colour to blank spots in your garden. All of the other items from {what next} in the photo are available at the main store, too. One stop; many goodies!

In addition to the planters, there are some pretty tulip bouquets to grace your Second Life home interior. These, too, are available at the FLF price of, yes, 50L!

After your quick visit to {what next}, head over to the [ keke ] main store for some new and older gems. The simple garden divider and very versatile old stonesteps are new releases, while the flower circles, little tree and glass hearts are a bit older. Older, however, does not mean tired or irrelevant; it means classic and timeless, as so many of [ keke ]’s pieces are.

After this very simple shopping trip, you should have plenty of energy left to make a start on your springtime garden. I can even guarantee no blisters or dirty knees after planting 🙂

While the turning of the calendar in Australia signifies the beginning of autumn, in Second Life it brings the latest round of The Arcade. Surely one of the hottest machines this round is the Salt & Pepper catsuit gacha. With multiple colours, the complete outfit is simply stunning! It includes both standard and Bento gloves and nails, not to mention a perfectly curled tail and perky ears.

Put out a saucer of milk; you’ll want to lure this fabulous creation into your wardrobe!
