If you are ready to refresh your Second Life landscaping with lovely spring decor, there is no need to go event-hopping or even shop-hopping. Most of what you need can be found in two places. How easy is that?

{what next} is participating in Fifty Linden Friday with these gorgeous tulip planters in a multitude of colours. The planters themselves are texture-change so you can find the right style to suit yourself. Because they are copy/modify, I was able to edit the planters, make the bases transparent and plant a few in the ground. It is a great way to add bursts of colour to blank spots in your garden. All of the other items from {what next} in the photo are available at the main store, too. One stop; many goodies!

In addition to the planters, there are some pretty tulip bouquets to grace your Second Life home interior. These, too, are available at the FLF price of, yes, 50L!

After your quick visit to {what next}, head over to the [ keke ] main store for some new and older gems. The simple garden divider and very versatile old stonesteps are new releases, while the flower circles, little tree and glass hearts are a bit older. Older, however, does not mean tired or irrelevant; it means classic and timeless, as so many of [ keke ]’s pieces are.

After this very simple shopping trip, you should have plenty of energy left to make a start on your springtime garden. I can even guarantee no blisters or dirty knees after planting 🙂

While the turning of the calendar in Australia signifies the beginning of autumn, in Second Life it brings the latest round of The Arcade. Surely one of the hottest machines this round is the Salt & Pepper catsuit gacha. With multiple colours, the complete outfit is simply stunning! It includes both standard and Bento gloves and nails, not to mention a perfectly curled tail and perky ears.

Put out a saucer of milk; you’ll want to lure this fabulous creation into your wardrobe!

Auntie Peep’s Bedtime Story

Something a little different at MadPea International Food Fair is this nursery scene and pose/prop set from -NOeditiON-. These prizes (plus another pose/prop set) are rares in their gacha. The scene is very detailed and the pose comes with two different babies – one light, one dark. They are great photography sets and of course, if you have your own little one, you can read to him. While I have cropped the shot closely to really only show the bed, the scene is actually a full room, complete with an armchair for snuggling, bookshelves, toys and other props. It is well worth trying your luck for this really well-done scene.

My outfit is a mix and match set, with an older top to go with this new mainstore release by *Just BECAUSE*, the Tori pencil skirt and adorable plats from fri.day, available at the latest round of Uber.

Unusually for me, this is a raw shot, other than cropping. I decided to let the scene tell the story itself. Just like Auntie Peep should do.
