1 Balancing Act

Do you ever feel like your entire life is a balancing act? That you’re juggling too many balls and teetering on the edge of…something? Family, work, friends, your health and well-being all battle for first place. It can be daunting and even a bit frightening, leaving you ready to throw your arms in the air and give up.

Finding the fulcrum can be a challenge. Taking a deep breath, pulling up your boot straps and forging ahead is all you can do. Sometimes it takes a hand to keep you from slipping into the abyss.

But when you finally level out, the reward is a calm confidence and an inner warmth that comes from knowing you have harnessed all of the knowledge of your test.

1 Wimey Labrynth

The theme for this round of Serafilms is Labyrinth, a movie I have to admit I hadn’t seen. It has been a very popular film amongst the designers, so I grabbed a copy to see what all the fuss was about.

It didn’t excite me as much as the creators, but they have turned out some lovely interpretations and at least I now understand the references. Honestly, I thought Sarah was selfish and deserved what she had to go through. If it wasn’t for the fact she had caused her baby step-brother to be kidnapped and she needed to get him back, I would have left her in the Bog of Eternal Stench.

From Wimey is the unscripted “The Clock Struck 13” timepiece. What I wouldn’t do for that extra hour!

1 Collage Labrynth

And from Collage is “The Maze.” I am showing the example build, but the pack includes various pieces so you can create your own Labyrinth with arches, cornerstones and walls.

Serafilms runs from May 15-30, so you have a bit of time to work your way over there. It is in a different location this month, so make sure you take the SLurl I provided.

1 Atelier Kreslo

I’ve been feeling a bit lazy the last few mornings, getting my blog posted later than usual. So this chair and pose seemed the perfect illustration of how I’ve felt.

This chair is now available at Atelier Kreslo, a collaboration between Breno and Kuro in Motion. It is aptly called “Monday Haters” and the poses are original and just so much fun! This one is called “Noooooooooo!” and I am sure you can relate. There are four colours of the chair, each with texture change cushions with three choices, so there should be something for everyone.

Now if I could just manage to drink my coffee while in this position I might be ready to get on with my day. No decaf allowed!
