A Winter’s Nap

Whether he climbed off the sled or just chose to ignore its pillows, this little fox found a winter oasis to take his nap.

The sled is from Sway’s for the January round of The Liaison Collaborative. There are two versions – the neutrals style I am showing and a muted version, as well. Each sled has three different colours of pillows through texture change. It is a lovely addition to a winter scene.

The screens are from [ keke ] in the January Deco(c)rate. They come as individual items, but there is also a linked example, which I chose to use for my photo. They are typically [ keke ]: pretty, detailed and delicate. The soft blue goes perfectly with the Frozen Roses and LightFrame from Ariskea, also included in this month’s Deco(c)rate. The distant trees are from Little Branch for TLC.

Out for a walk, I am all bundled up in layers. You have seen the coat I am wearing before, in a different colour. I just love this sweet, swingy coat from neve, which is available at The Liaison Collaborative until December 30. So you’d better hurry to get yours!

On my legs I am wearing the beautiful Callie boots from fri.day for the December round of Uber. Check out the detail! The rawhide string that wraps around the heel and the tiny little bow at the back are just the kind of things that set these boots apart. They also come with optional socks (with a colour-change HUD) that give these boots even more versatility. Oh, and as a bonus, the boots alone fit perfectly over the standard length Cake Leggings from Blueberry and with the socks, they work with the over boot version! Since virtually every female on the grid owns these leggings, Callie is a must-have for mixing and matching to set you apart.

Bundle up, stay warm and enjoy the cold weather for me. We’re heading into a heatwave in the next few days and I would love to be pulling on my winter warmers instead.

Bish At Hoth

Are you a Bish? I am! The inaugural Bish Box arrived on December 20th, and it was definitely worth the wait. With fifteen top designers participating in each box you can’t go wrong with this monthly offering. If you missed out on December’s box, head to the Bish Box Headquarters to pick yours up. It is at a higher fee after the box is released, but well worth it. And while you’re there, you can hit the subscription kiosk for next month so you don’t miss out!

The amazing body tattoo from .Identity. Body Shop is just one of three from this designer from Bish Box. I will be showing you more from this round in the coming days, but this is a statement tattoo that deserves nothing more than some accessorising from the Queen of Statement Pieces, Zib Skaggs of Zibska. The headpieces and collar are part of the Rare set available in the Zibska gacha at the December round of The Liaison Collaborative. You still have time to head over to try your luck; TLC runs through December 30th.

I wanted a dramatic setting for this outfit, so why not contrast the dark colours with a barren, snowy background? I mentioned a while back that Furillen was being transformed into the Star Wars world of Hoth, and that’s just where I headed. While my outfit would probably fit better into Mos Eisley’s Cantina, this is my post, so I took literary license and used Hoth instead. For those of you who would rather visit the desert planet of Tatooine, you can do that now, too, at Furillen. Just use the teleporter in the ice cave of the landing point at Hoth. No, the cantina isn’t part of the scene, but it is well worth the visit for its stark beauty. You might even run into a Star Wars character or two.

While I’m a Bish at Hoth, be sure to open your box and be a Bish wherever you want to be.
