The Old Greenhouse In The Garden

I’m taking a quick break from skins and fashion to bring you this lovely spot to rest and recharge. My absolute favourite from this month’s Deco(c)rate is hands down, the old garden greenhouse from [ keke ]. Even though you know [ keke ] is one of my all-time favourites in general, this greenhouse is a stand out. The gorgeous textures – the way the sun plays off the windows, which are streaked with rain, the detail on the fittings and just the space you have (not a cramped greenhouse at all) make it something very special.

If you didn’t subscribe this month, this makes the extra cost worth the splash-out, never mind the other gorgeous items, including the Palmero set from ARIA.

The rest is a mix of old and new home & garden stuff, like the beautiful blooming trees from Little Branch and the wheelbarrow decor, part of a HUGE rustic garden set by DRD, both available at The Liaison Collaborative.

Put your feet up. Relax. Take in your surroundings in the lovely old greenhouse in the garden.

Curtain Call

I may be getting ahead of things, since Skin Fair 2017 has just begun, but all of the designers will be deserving of multiple curtain calls once the event closes on March 26th. They have truly outdone themselves, with stunning skins, tattoos, makeup appliers and mesh head releases. After the cut, I’ll give you more information to prepare you for one of the biggest events of the Second Life year, including sim maps and SLurls to the fair.

Before I do that, I wanted to make sure that some other releases weren’t lost in the shuffle of Skin Fair. Collabor88 is spectacular this month, with warm and wonderful designs from the top creators in SL. I could live in these leg warmers from fri.day at the event. With autumn upon us in Australia and winter looming, they will surely become a staple in my wardrobe.

The Liaison Collaborative is up and running with their 4th birthday round. There are some beautiful home and garden items in this round and many of the designers have put out birthday gifts – yours for the taking. Do make sure you visit.

Before & After

We have all had those moments, when we are so exhausted we just have to have to sit and rest. Head dropped for whatever support can be found, eyes barely held open. It is a “before” image that is simply borne of exhaustion.

1-after-sm

But following a refreshing pause, with a toss of the hair and a swing to the hips, it is an “after” of epic proportions. Calm, confident and in control.

The Before & After hair is from .:EMO-tions:., available at The Liaison Collaborative in March. It is two separate styles for two different moods. And it is fabulous.

My gorgeous shoes are a gacha prize from fri.day at the March round of The Arcade. They work so well with jeans or a pair of straight-leg trousers that you really must play until you win every colour.

I am once again sporting the Freya skin by *Birth*, coming to Skin Fair 2017. I am driving home a point here, ladies; you really need to try this skin!
