Christmastime conjures up images of Sugarplum Fairies dancing in your dreams. It is not a far stretch to create this mystical being with the First Snow Make-Up Set from Izzie’s and this pretty bodysuit and skirt from the gacha machine by ERSCH. Both are available at The Liaison Collaborative through December 30. You just need to add music and imagination.

And she danced and she danced until she could dance no more.

Curtain Call

I may be getting ahead of things, since Skin Fair 2017 has just begun, but all of the designers will be deserving of multiple curtain calls once the event closes on March 26th. They have truly outdone themselves, with stunning skins, tattoos, makeup appliers and mesh head releases. After the cut, I’ll give you more information to prepare you for one of the biggest events of the Second Life year, including sim maps and SLurls to the fair.

Before I do that, I wanted to make sure that some other releases weren’t lost in the shuffle of Skin Fair. Collabor88 is spectacular this month, with warm and wonderful designs from the top creators in SL. I could live in these leg warmers from fri.day at the event. With autumn upon us in Australia and winter looming, they will surely become a staple in my wardrobe.

The Liaison Collaborative is up and running with their 4th birthday round. There are some beautiful home and garden items in this round and many of the designers have put out birthday gifts – yours for the taking. Do make sure you visit.

Of Puppies, Poufs and Pom-Poms

A bit of a romantic vintage look today, thanks to the beautiful creations from 22769 ~ [bauwerk], Apple Fall, {what next}, [ keke ] and more. There are several romance-themed events going on this month, and The Liaison Collaborative is a standout. But don’t forget about the joy of wandering into a main store to see the latest releases and perhaps finding a vintage gem. [ keke ] has a few recent main store releases, along with classics you may have missed before. My photo shows several of these hidden treasures; you will just have to visit to get them for yourself.

I found myself relaxing in this vintage room, dreaming romantic dreams…filled with puppies, poufs and pom-poms.
