I have never been a person who puts up their Christmas tree in RL before the beginning of December. In fact, I won’t be putting one up at all this year. It’s too much of a temptation for my cat and since it’s just the two of us, why test fate? Besides, even after 14 Christmases in Australia, I can’t get my head around Christmas in the summer. It would be my luck to trim my tree and get hit by a bushfire alert and have to take it down.
Instead, I can have a cozy little place in Second Life with a roaring fire, a big, brightly lit tree and even snow falling softly outside. I can even change it on a whim, depending on who is stopping by to visit. Today I brought along Chance to show off this very romantic pose by !bang for this month’s round of TMD. He didn’t bring the mistletoe, but honestly, who really needs it? đ
