1 J is for Jump D

I wasn’t quite sure what to do for the letter J. I could have gone with a designer, but I wanted to do more of a theme. When “jump” popped into my head, I started looking for poses in my inventory. I found a couple, but they weren’t what I wanted. I was going to give up on the idea and try to come up with something else, then I happened to stumble across this tutorial on pose making by Gogo on JuicyBomb. Since I had an idea of what type of pose I wanted, I decided to give it a go. So, I downloaded DAZ Studio, followed Gogo’s instructions and started playing around.

Yes, that is it in my photo. Not only am I jumping, but I am joyful, jubilant and jolly-well proud of my little creation. Is it perfect? Nah. But I made it! I’m going to call it beginner’s luck, though, because I tried another one and it was a joke!

But there’s no need to be jealous because here is the surprise I mentioned yesterday – I’m giving it away!

All you need to do is visit my marketplace store or stop in my show room in world to pick it up. It is sitting on the shelf just as you walk in, so it’s easy to find.

I only have one request: if you use it in a photo for your blog, please credit it. I think that’s a small price to pay for a Poses by Peep original 😉

I is for Ivories

I have always loved the phrase, “tickling the ivories.” I took piano lessons as a child, but I abused the poor things, rather than tickling them. I love music, but I am an appreciator – not a musician. I am lucky that I can play an iPod since I have had little luck with instruments.

I may be following the spirit of the law, rather than the letter by choosing “Ivories” for my I entry in the Inventory Alphabet challenge, but I loved this picture so much that I couldn’t wait until I got to P for Piano. Besides, I have something else planned for that letter 😉

And, I have a very special post planned for tomorrow. Yes, J is shaping up to be a bit exciting for me. I am even planning a little gift for you, so make sure you check back tomorrow to see what you need to do to get in on it.

1 H is for Hippie

One of the reasons my inventory is so ridiculously out of control is because every time I try to clear it out, I think to myself, “But what if I need that someday?” Well, I just proved myself right because as it turns out, I did need that 60’s inspired camper I retextured! I’m having a wonderful time walking down memory lane during the Inventory Alphabet Challenge. This camper, which I only removed from the island a couple of months ago to make room for the Roxie beach house holds many happy memories filled with laughter.

I made it to Japan Fair a couple of days ago and I found these cute sweatpants, shoes and awesome glasses (among other things). They were my inspiration for today’s post. Yes, I bought them during the challenge, but I didn’t buy them just for the challenge, so I haven’t broken my rule. So far, as we are almost a third of the way through the alphabet I have managed to create my entry based on things that were already in my inventory. Even if they were only there for an hour or so before I took the photo 😉

I’ve got to go now. There is a sit-in on the university steps and I’m in charge of making the signs!
