Modern Heaven

1 Prime & Hate This for The Challenge

While I am definitely a Shabby Chic kind of gal, I know not everyone is. So if you fall into the Modern camp, PRIME and [hate this] have a couple of offerings that will suit your style in this month’s Heaven theme for The Challenge.

The Neon Angel wings, from [hate this] come in separate left and right pieces (in case you are a one-winged angel) and have options for colour, glow and lighting. Use them to flank your artwork or just display them on their own. Heck, get creative and use them as photo props for your own heavenly version of a Rhinestone Cowboy! The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

The artwork is an original creation by Reven Rosca. Do try it in different lighting; it really does make the various parts of the picture stand out. And it goes well with a new living room set that has been recently released by PRIME. The perfect accompaniment to a modern design.

Hurry to pick these up as part of The Challenge – you have until the end of the month, but why wait?

Pretty stuff I’m showing off:

It’s All About The Shoes

1 All About The Shoes_002

In my post yesterday, I did a close up photo because I couldn’t be bothered to find a pair of matching shoes (blasphemy, I know!). Today, it was all about building an outfit around a stunning pair of heels. I logged on to a notice that _CandyDoll_ had not just a new release of adorable boots, but these stunners, as well! They are add-ons for the Slink High Feet. I admit that I have gotten spoiled by Slink, Gos and N-Core to a more limited extent with their skin-matching systems, so I rarely wear shoes by any other creators. And I am fantastically in love with the add ons for the Slink feet by a lot of other designers, these beauties included. With flat, medium and high feet, Slink has every wardrobe situation covered.

These babies come in something like 23 colours, there is a fatpack (which for once, I didn’t indulge in, but that might change 😉 ) and if you wear the JD feet instead of Slink, there is a version for those in the box, as well. I didn’t even finish clearing out my notices before I hopped over to the _CandyDoll_ mainstore to grab these gorgeous treasures!

So, Cao, there really is no reason for you to keep going barefoot. The knickers thing? Well, I can’t help you out on that one…this time 😉

Why I Love Close Ups

1 Peep's Cherries B

I really do love close ups. There are a lot of reasons why. When I am shooting client photos, I do a few full-body shots, but my main focus is on the face. I tend to do bust shots rather than straight headshots, but they are still closeups of my subject.

Wanna know why? Jump past the cut, and I’ll tell you! Continue reading
