I promised a few days ago I would go back to Scribbled Hearts to explore the sim. Since I needed to test out the “fix” I applied to Fernando to make sure he wouldn’t have another meltdown, I decided to head back over and fulfill that promise. As I was wandering around, shooting photos, a little story developed in my head. My apologies – this is going to be a long post with quite a few photos. I am going to attempt to use a “cut” for the first time so this doesn’t clog the feeds, or if you’re on my blog’s home page, you don’t have to follow my tale to the end without clicking into the post 😉

It all really started with this photo…

Oh no! My teleporter is broken, the only taxi in sight looks like it has come out of the back end of a Demolition Derby and I’m in a “no coverage area” for my mobile! This must be a Windows phone 😦

I guess I’m stuck here for a while. Maybe I’ll wander around and see what might keep my interest. Of course, I’m wearing heels on the one day I have to walk…sighs.

I guess fishing isn’t a bad way to kill some time. I can’t twist my ankle while sitting on this dock. I just have to make sure I don’t get my shoes wet…these Gos pumps cost me a fortune! Yeah, I know I got two colours with the hud, but still!

Hmmm…not even a nibble. (Note to self: Add bait to your list of stuff to always carry with you, along with hiking boots and a 4G phone!)

Forget this…If I did catch anything I would just let it go. What else is there to do around here?

O…K…a door set into a fence. And it’s open! Maybe there’s something here to keep me occupied for a while. Ugh! No path? If I get grass stains on these pumps, somebody is going to be in BIG trouble!

Oh! A television! And a real chair to rest in! This may not be so bad after all!

So, no remote, no popcorn and no turntable for that record. Wait…it’s not plugged in? Then what am I watching???

I’m SURE this show looks familiar. I wonder if it’s a rerun? Just my luck – and I haven’t watched TV in over four years! At least it has sound…oh no! That’s not the soundtrack to Jaws I hear…it’s my tummy growling o.O I wonder if there’s anyplace to get a bite to eat around here?

Hey! What’s a girl got to do to get service? Hello? Anybody home? *grumbles* Internet doesn’t work, no air conditioning and it looks like this is self-serve!

What? After the day I’ve had, I deserve a double-dip! I need energy to find my way out of here! Don’t judge :p

Oh no…this path seems to be a dead end 😦 But wait – what’s that over there? Now if that bottle will just float over here so I don’t have to wade across and ruin my shoes, I might be able to find my way out of here!

I made it! Message in a bottle sent. Surely someone will find it and get me out of here before dark!

…or maybe not 😦 But at least I know it’s on its way to somewhere where some kind stranger will take pity on me and tp me home.

What? It’s still here??? Sighs…Now I know how Rose felt while she floated in the icy North Atlantic. I may not have Jack, but I still have my shoes 😉
