The day that every Second Life fashionista has been awaiting has arrived: Hair Fair 2016 is open!
I was privileged once again to have early access, and I took full advantage of it (as usual). I will be flooding my blog with posts that feature items from Hair Fair over the coming days…maybe even weeks! No matter what your preferred style, there is something there for you – I guarantee it! And since a part of every purchase goes to Wigs for Kids, you can leave your guilt at the sim edge when you arrive.
You can click on the Hair Fair link above to take you to the blog – there are photos there of all of the styles, plus a SLurl to the sim that hosts each designer. There is a central landing point on each sim, but if you use those SLurls, you should give you a beacon that leads you to the hair of your dreams.

Today I am wearing Modesty from Atelier Pepe. It is the perfect hat hair! If you have every shied away from buying a hat in Second Life because it is so hard to find hair to wear with it, get this style! It just so happened I received a new hat to blog for JfL Real Hats today, so it was serendipity that I found this hair. Just one click of the resizer on the hat, a very slight positional change, et voila! A great style for using with your chapeau!
I will mention that I got this hair by accident. I intended to buy a different style (Natural) from this designer, but it was mis-packaged. I have sent the creator a notecard to let her know (and I’m sure I’m not the only one). She wasn’t online when I contacted her, but I am sure she will rectify this as soon as possible. As it turns out, it was a blessing in disguise.
