A quarter? Fifty cents? A phone card? I have no idea how much a call from a payphone costs anymore or if phone cards still exist!

Who really cares; you have more important things to do, like heading to Summerfest ’16 to pick up this flirty dress from Apple May Designs. Yes, it’s a dress (with matching panties, thank goodness!) but it could double as a swimsuit just as easily. Just don’t send me the dry cleaning bill!

As promised, this is a peek at another of the rooms at Furillen. They’re all quirky and fun. Schedule a visit today; you don’t have to call ahead for reservations.

I love this picture.

I was playing around on the edge of my land and hit the slope into the water. As I stood there, trying to find some props for a completely different shot, my avatar began slipping downward into the depths of the Linden Sea. With my head stuffed in my inventory, I wasn’t quite sure where I had gone! I cammed around to find myself and stumbled upon this awesome angle through the water. I quickly saved my camera view and tried out various poses until I found the one I needed. Then the fun began: Windlight settings! The cloud coverage became my ripples, the stars became the basis of the bubbles, and the lighting became the deep blue-green of the ocean.

I ended up merging two shots to create this one, but other than a few extra bubbles, this is what I was seeing through my camera lens.

All of this was to highlight the amazing ruffled bikini by Valentina E. for Summerfest ’16. Go forth and shop. But don’t forget to come up for air.

If you have been struggling to find that special someone to accompany you to the beach – you know, to rub sunscreen on your back, brush the sand off your tush – fear not; you can find the perfect date (or two) at Summerfest ’16! Hey, they will even work as a life raft in case you get a cramp while swimming!

Katat0nik Pidgeon is one of the more creative designers in Second Life, and she hasn’t disappointed at this year’s Summerfest. This event always has some very playful items, but these Pool Toys from *katat0nik* are definitely going to be a hit! There are three different versions (sorry, but clowns freak me out, so I couldn’t bring myself to include him), and you get both a male and female version, plus large and small pool toys. Yes, that’s right…POOL toys. Got it??

Intrigue Co. is also another creative designer, and you can find a variety of kitschy goodies at Summerfest, including this fruitilicious necklace. Perhaps you’ll prefer a flamingo or umbrella hat or a bum bag, but hey – they’ve got you covered!

After the cut there is a closeup of the necklace, plus I’ll fill you in on my tat and the sand that my boyfriends haven’t bothered to dust off of me yet!
