It’s that trust thing – stepping to the edge of the cliff with just one thought on your mind: Will you catch me if I fall?

Having the belief that you will land safely is what allows you to take that final step, arriving softly in protective arms.

What I am believing in today is a how a beautiful dress and accessories can give you the confidence to step out – alone, or with that saving presence around. The dress, from Valentina E. is feminine and just revealing enough to make you feel sexy without worrying what might peek out…that shouldn’t. The headpiece and necklace are prizes at the round of The Gacha Garden, which begins November 1st. The necklace, which comes with a HUD for every sign of the zodiac is a rare and the headpiece, with texture-change HUD is the Seed of Inspiration prize. Sometimes you don’t know what to expect when a friend invites you over to hang out. I have to say the decor is a bit macabre for my taste and I certainly wouldn’t have chosen that wallpaper. And would it have killed him to run a mop over the floor?

Here I am, after saying I probably wouldn’t be doing a Halloween-themed post, doing another one. This one was inspired by offerings from The Theme Park and Kuro & [Con.], who have teamed up again for a cute gacha at Kustom9.

My internet connection lately has been more of a nightmare than a dream. I spent several hours on Sunday trying to replace my modem (which I had replaced just a few months ago), only to discover that it is faulty. So I suffered through drops and a slow connection to take this photograph. For the first time in ages, I didn’t shoot on Ultra-high graphics. And I was not happy about it.

Tonight after being booted from Second Life after never fully rezzing and having my browser take minutes instead of seconds to refresh, I called my ISP. After several tests, we determined that I had a bad filter on my line. Instantly I went from a sickening 347 kbps to 7314 kbps with a new filter, I did a little happy dance. Even before I started having these major speed issues, I was only getting around 4350 kbps.

OK, so maybe that’s a bit nerdy; I don’t really care. To me, my internet speed is now the stuff that dreams are made of.
