I have always said I am a simple girl. I have simple wants with just a modicum of flair to keep me from being entirely beige in my needs. I don’t know if there is a polar opposite of “high maintenance,” but if there is, that’s me.

I like old things. I adore well-made but unadorned clothes. I like pastels and pretty little baubles. I don’t want candlelit dinners in fancy restaurants; I prefer eating takeout on the sofa while listening to music. I love odd numbered objects in asymmetrical patterns. I like birdsong on a spring day.

I don’t have high expectations: blessed are those who expect nothing, for they shall not be disappointed. I smile at puns – the badder the better. I would rather watch kittens play than go to the ballet.

I was honoured to be selected as a blogger for The Liaison Collaborative recently. I was thrilled that the first round is themed, “Simplicity.” It suits me.

The dress by Mimikri I am wearing is from this event. The setting is a sim called :::North BAROQUED::: – nagisa. They are both simple, pastel, and like birdsong on a spring day: perfect.

It’s a common problem for a pet owner. You get up to grab a drink and come back to your furry friend curled up on your seat. If you have a dog, he will probably look at you with sad eyes, tail thumping slowly, hoping you don’t displace him. For cat owners, you know well that glare that says, “What? It’s full of warm. Go find another place to sit, Human.”

My darling little puss has this look down cold. She is usually only willing to give up her spot in exchange for a brushing. She normally wins.

I do want to draw your attention to the desk set and accessories from .tree at Wayward Winter. You are most likely familiar with Karla Marama’s work as the designer of Pr!tty (store currently closed for remodeling). Karla has undertaken creating “trinkets and furniture” under the brand .tree . While she hasn’t yet opened a store in Second Life under this brand, you can find her lovingly crafted treasures exclusively at Wayward Winter. Each one is created with attention to detail, care and amazing quality. You don’t want to miss out on this chance to snatch up her work.

Just as she was preparing to settle in for a relaxing afternoon, she noticed her tiny visitor. But living in the country, you always welcome your guests, regardless of their size or persuasion.

Wayward Market has opened for the November round, and there are loads of pretty things to dress up your home and your body. Check out the Wayward Events website for more details. The event runs until December 10th on the Wayward sim.
