1 The Girl In The Hat

There is just something about a girl in a hat. She may be an ordinary girl with doubts about herself, but when she puts on a hat, she changes. Whether it is a beret, a wide-brimmed sun hat or a fedora, when she places it carefully atop her head something magical happens. It is as if a prince has crowned her with a tiara. She is more confident, whimsical and proud. She transforms from a wallflower to the belle of the ball. All eyes turn to her as she enters a room, a lovely centrepiece to be admired.

She is simply perfection, this girl in the hat.

1 Sneaking out of the guest room

Shhhh…be very, very quiet. I have been a house guest and when I woke up very early this morning I realised I didn’t bring a thank you gift. I’m going to sneak out of the guest room quietly and rush to the market to pick up a lovely breakfast. Since I rested so well in this comfy bed with soft, downy pillows and warm blankets I am feeling perky and sure I can get back before my host arises. Such a playful dress and handbag just add to the spring in my step.

There are loads of events running right now, so there is no shortage of places to shop. Sadly, they aren’t featuring food so I hope I can find a nice cafe someplace close!

1 Wimey Labrynth

The theme for this round of Serafilms is Labyrinth, a movie I have to admit I hadn’t seen. It has been a very popular film amongst the designers, so I grabbed a copy to see what all the fuss was about.

It didn’t excite me as much as the creators, but they have turned out some lovely interpretations and at least I now understand the references. Honestly, I thought Sarah was selfish and deserved what she had to go through. If it wasn’t for the fact she had caused her baby step-brother to be kidnapped and she needed to get him back, I would have left her in the Bog of Eternal Stench.

From Wimey is the unscripted “The Clock Struck 13” timepiece. What I wouldn’t do for that extra hour!

1 Collage Labrynth

And from Collage is “The Maze.” I am showing the example build, but the pack includes various pieces so you can create your own Labyrinth with arches, cornerstones and walls.

Serafilms runs from May 15-30, so you have a bit of time to work your way over there. It is in a different location this month, so make sure you take the SLurl I provided.
