My dear friend Tylar recently updated her look. She asked me to redo her photos, telling me her new look was “harder and bitchier.” So, I went into this photo shoot trying to reflect that change.
Sighs. I couldn’t do it. What I see in Tylar is her caring heart, her ability to always make me smile or laugh and her amazing generosity. I’ve said before I consider myself to be a “mood” photographer. I try to portray what I see in the person I am photographing. And no matter what I did, I couldn’t see past her beauty – inside and out.

Those pics are wonderful. I specially like #4. And maybe they are not the ‘hi i am a class A bitch pics’ but they show a strong person. I think you didn’t fail at all.
