It is spring in the northern hemisphere and that is the time of year when romance is in the air…along with the pollen. But it is autumn here in the antipodes and romance will bloom in any season.

Right now in Second Life we are on the cusp of Pose Fair season. It starts on Saturday, April 19 at 12pm SLT (noon). There are a lot of lovely new couples’ poses that are perfect for showing off the romantic side of your life. Luana Dawg at Kuro in motion has some wonderful new releases, exclusive for Pose Fair. What I love about the poses Luana creates is that they work well for either full-body shots or close ups. “Give Me Love” is the pose in my lead photo. Perfect for portraying the longing of new love or the understanding between a couple who have been through ups and downs and are still together.

“Powerless” is a pose that can be either romantic or playful, depending on whether you crop it close, like I did, or if you do a full-body shot. Yes, this is a tease; you’ll have to check it out yourself to understand about the playfulness 😉

But “On Top Of The World” is pure whimsy, showing off the fun side of romance, or it would work equally well for friends. It’s all in your interpretation, which is what makes a pose special.

I have to thank my sweetheart for getting in world to pose with me so I didn’t have to create a male alt. Although he was heading out of town for the long weekend, he made the time to help me out. Besides, we needed new couples photos; the romance may not be stale, but the pictures we have together are!

I will have more in the coming days of poses available at Pose Fair this year, but they will be singles poses, not couples. Today’s post is special – just like romance should be.
